boundless

Isaiah 6:8

Grace and peace be with you right now friend! Question - who else packs like they’re moving across the world for a weekend trip? You know, just in case you need six pairs of shoes for two days? (Guilty!) But here’s the kicker: when it comes to serving in God’s mission, we don’t need an overstuffed suitcase. In fact, we don’t even need a plane ticket. God’s mission is simpler than we think, and His love doesn’t require a passport.

love without limits

“Go and make disciples of all nations…” – Matthew 28:19-20

Jesus didn’t just call us to love within our comfort zones—He called us to go. But before you panic, thinking you need to sell all your belongings and move to a remote village, take a deep breath. Missions aren’t about geography; they’re about the heart.

God’s love is boundary-breaking, culture-crossing, and people-loving. And the most beautiful part? You don’t have to be a world traveler to be a world-changer. Whether you’re serving across the globe or across the street, His mission is unfolding right where you are.

where do I even start?

Maybe you’re feeling overwhelmed by all the needs in the world. Maybe you’re not sure where you fit in the big picture of service. Maybe you feel like you don’t have the skills, resources, or let’s be honest—the courage. But guess what? God doesn’t call the qualified; He qualifies the called.

Let’s make it simple, here are practical ways to step into God’s mission today:

Local Love

  • Volunteer at a homeless shelter or food pantry.

  • Offer to babysit for a single mom who needs a break.

  • Pay for a stranger’s coffee and leave a note of encouragement.

Global Impact

  • Sponsor a child through an organization like Compassion International.

  • Support missionaries financially or through prayer.

  • Join a short-term mission trip (or support one from afar!).

just show up

I’ll never forget the testimony of a friend who once went on a mission trip to a rural village. She was nervous, wondering how she—a non-medical, non-preaching, regular person—could make a difference. But on day one, she simply sat with a young girl, painted her nails, and talked about Jesus. That small act of love opened a door for deep, life-changing conversations. That’s the thing about service—it’s not about doing something grand, it’s about showing up in love.

Loving others isn’t about having it all together; it’s about showing up with God’s love. It’s not about perfection; it’s about presence. And the best part? When we step into serving others, we actually get to experience more of God’s heart ourselves. Amen!

in harmony,
