keep watering
Galatians 6:9
Grace and peace be with you right now friend! Let’s be real—this faith walk? It’s not for the faint of heart.
Have you ever felt like you're doing all the right things—praying, fasting, showing up, creating, serving—but nothing’s shifting? You're putting in the work, but your life still looks like dry, cracked soil with not even a sprout in sight.
“God, where’s the harvest?”
If that’s you, you're not alone. This post is your personal invitation to breathe again—to remember that God is not just the God of the harvest, but the God of the hidden process.
farmers trust what’s unseen
The most underrated flex of a farmer is their faith.
They wake up every day and tend to fields with zero guarantee of when or how the crops will come. They water barren ground, trusting that something is happening beneath the surface—even when they can’t see it.
That’s exactly what God is calling us to do.
Your prayers? Seeds. Your obedience? Seeds. Your consistency in the secret place? Seeds.
The work you're doing that nobody claps for—the late-night writing sessions, the small audience you keep showing up for, the inner healing journey nobody sees—it’s all seed in the ground.
the harvest is God’s timing, not ours
Here's the uncomfortable truth: God doesn’t operate on our timelines.
Galatians 6:9 reminds us:
“Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
Notice how it says proper time—not your time. Not when the algorithm favors you. Not when everyone else is clapping for you. Not when you feel ready.
God is the Lord of the Harvest. He knows exactly when to break the soil open and let what’s been hidden come to life.
don’t quit before the breakthrough
Imagine if a farmer stopped watering the field just because nothing was sprouting.
What if the breakthrough was one more prayer away? What if the open door was behind one more act of obedience?
Maybe you're not seeing results because you're in root season. The hidden, underground work God is doing is strengthening what’s about to bloom.
If you stop now, you'll never know what was about to break through the surface.
Keep watering.
Let’s build this community of faith together. We’re standing in the field together.
Let’s be the generation that doesn’t quit—because the Farmer’s heart knows the harvest is already on the way. Let's water each other’s faith in the waiting. Amen!
in harmony,
nancy
